If you are looking to explore the original Dubai then you should head for the Bastakia Quarter where you will find a maze of narrow alleyways. Here in the remnants of the original fishing village that formed the foundations of Dubai you can find trendy café bars and modern art galleries.
Another traditional experience visitor’s love to sample is the solitude of the desert. You can try out 4×4 desert safaris, bouncing across endless sand dunes. You can attend an oasis BBQ that is complete with henna painting and belly dancers or perhaps a more peaceful hot air balloon ride across the sandy landscape may be more to your liking.
The accommodation in and around Dubai are first rate. Quality hotels from even the simplest of premises, up to the super rich, chic and trendy. There are hotels with private beaches, Rolls Royce taxis, and world cuisine. There are currently over 45,000 rooms in Dubai to suit every pocket, with this amount of choice finding the right room shouldn’t be a problem.
