This week I was lucky enough to travel to Jasper in Alberta, Canada. This is one I have been looking forward to for a while. Lots of people have told me about the drive through Jasper national park being one of the best drives in the world. They were not lying.
Jasper lies northwest of Calgary and Banff, just up the highway from Lake Louise. It is home to some of the craziest and most beautiful terrain I have ever seen. Epic mountains, waterfalls, glaciers, lakes, rivers, cliffs and gorges are everywhere. I was lucky enough to travel with someone who used to live in the town of Jasper, so he gave a tour of some of the best and most beautiful places.
This is a unmarked one dubbed ‘edge of the world’ by the locals. It is located just of the road up to the Marmot ski hill. It is an amazing view, spanning for miles and miles over Jasper town and beyond.
